Hunter Ceiling Fans 23855 Original Classic 52" Fan - Black Cast Iron Indoor Fan 52" Review

(More customer reviews)I've always been a Hunter fan (gosh that's funny!), and wanted to spend a little more on their Original Classic. I am glad I did. Every part of the fan is of higher quality. The blades have real wood veneer on each side (walnut and oak); not the wood look vinyl.
The motor housing is cast iron (over 40 pounds! be careful) and uses oil (tube include) to continuously bathe the ball bearings and circulates to other vital areas. Hence, this fan comes with a lifetime warranty. They say the oil should never have to be replaced or added to, but the level should be checked every 5 years.
They kept the old Classic look and design but improved the efficiency. It has an Energy Star rating and is the most efficient model I've ever owned (I have 2 other new Hunter fans which are not as efficient; still good though). The efficiency ratings are shown on the outside top of the box.
It's a great fan.

(More customer reviews)Well, I'd written a glowing, very detailed review of this item 2 days after I received it as a birthday gift. It's beautiful, works well diffusing oils into the air gently, and *didn't survive* 4 days of intermittent use.
The first time the water came below the sensor, it turned off, as it was supposed to. According to the (badly written) instructions, I should have been able to just add water to bring the level over the sensor and it would work again. Nope. I unplugged it, filled it, and the sensor light was still on. I let it rest for about an hour. It turned on and made mist/diffused for about 3 minutes and shut off again - the red light indicating a too-low water level. Unfortunately, the sensor happened to be under about an inch of water at the time. After many attempts to remedy this situation, I'm going to have to ask the purchaser for the receipt so I can send it back. It's too bad because I was completely in love with this item.
I might try just to get a replacement, but I might return it for a completely different ultrasonic diffuser.

Pink Tart Warmer + Nightlight Review

(More customer reviews)The plugin works but it is crooked and doesn't stay upright. It is poor quality and probably won't last long. Everytime I unplug it I'm afraid it will break. Also the top saucer is not attached to the plug in like real Scency plugins are. So, when you turn it on and off you run the risk of it tipping or falling off.

Blue Bowl 3 Ft. Mist Water Fountain Fog Lamp Review

(More customer reviews)Worked well to keep the humidity up in a dorm room and two different apartments. Usually ran it 24 hrs a day for about 6 months a year. It lasted roughly 4 years before the bulb burned out. Would buy it again.

Mosquito Repelling Digital Watch by Ultrasonic Sound, Odorless Repeller Review

(More customer reviews)I live in SE Texas, and we live with mosquitos swarms most of the year. I thought it was a great idea to try out one of these sonic watches - especially for those cocktail/dinner parties in the backyard or around the pool. This did nothing. In fact, I watched mosquitoes land right next to it, on my arm, when it was on. And, don't be fooled, you can kinda hear it, depending on how good your hearing is.
It is a waste of money for sure...
