(More customer reviews)This comes with everything you need material wise to get started with aromatherapy. The only real disappointment was that there really isn't much in line of reading/reference material (just a piece of paper with not much info). A beginners guide would really open the doors for those wanting to really get the most from this kit. I would suggest getting a begginers book or DVD as well. I purchased a DVD before the kit (Aromatherapy with Valerie Ann Worwood) and I really feel that it was the way to go. This really is a nice beginners kit, and had it arrived with a substantial guide on certain aroma blends, and a reference for blending it would received 5 stars. Definitely buy this if you're interested in aromatherapy, but also consider a DVD and or reference book. You'll get the most out of your experience.

Soapstone Aroma Oil Diffuser and Tealight Candle Burner Review

(More customer reviews)This is a well-made diffuser. It has a good heft and feels very solid. The one I received was a somewhat darker tone than the picture (more of a dark chocolate shade), but some variation is to be expected with a product made from natural materials and the darker shade is quite attractive. The bowl is a good size! It is all one piece (the bowl does not come off) so there's no worry about knocking it off.
I use a candle lighter, but if you're trying to use a cigarette lighter it might be hard to light the tea light. The cavity inside has a lip that would make it difficult to light the candle and then push it inside without burning yourself (however, this lip would be useful to contain hot wax spills so it is not a bad thing). If you have a candle lighter or long matches, no problem, the opening in the back is good and wide.
When I was browsing diffusers, I saw this one and it called my name! And when I got it, I was not disappointed.

Aromatherapy Lamp - Double Flower w/Vine Review

(More customer reviews)This diffuser is unpolished soapstone, but the stone used is so pretty as-is that it really doesn't need to be polished. It has one of the more elaborate carvings I've seen on a soapstone diffuser, with lots of holes for the light to shine through. The bowl is a good size, and is not attached (it is a separate piece) which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view.
The opening in the back is a bit small and it has a high interior lip. Getting a tealight in there without getting burned is a learned art (maybe easier for you, as I am kind of clumsy anyway). A minor flaw, really, and not worth deducting a star. It really is very pretty. The one you get probably won't be pink, though. Mine is more of a purple. Good thing, because I don't like pink. Any item made with natural materials is going to show some color variation.

Everything I've ordered from them has always smelled very clean, fresh and exactly like what you would expect it to smell like. This ginger essential oil was no exception and arrived quickly after ordering. It smells exactly like a fresh root of ginger and the quality is higher than other suppliers I've tried.
My only complaint would be that I'm not crazy about the dropper used within their bottles. The oil comes out too fast if you're not careful, so it can be a tedious process measuring individual drops for a recipe or blend.

(More customer reviews)I bought a couple of sets from Edens Garden to try some new oils. I like this one a lot because it had all the oils ready to use for Christmas and Thanksgiving time. I like the Pine oil, makes my house smell like the outdoors. Also, I put some of the cinnamon oils (I tried putting a little of the clove and the cassia together) in hot water over the stove and gives off a really nice aroma. It would make a really nice gift too as it comes in a nice decorative box. Thanks!

(More customer reviews)I am addicted to fragrance oils and more comfortable to leave these burning as I'm going from room to room (or before bed) compared to candles. I was using a more squat and wide warmer but this seems to do better on the oils lasting. The oil part at the top is quite deep and no worries about spills. I am using three of them in my own home and I also think it would make a nice gift.

(More customer reviews)I'm satisfied with the product in all. Its color is exactly what appears to be shown in the photo, but the candle base needs to be a little bit smaller than the usual size. I have the same type of candles as the one shown in the photo, but it seems (even in the photo) not to fit exactly into that part. The amount of water/diffuser is enough to be used with 2 candles in a raw.

(More customer reviews)The small bowl on top is loose, so you can fill it with warm water and a few drops of an essential oil. Then slide in a tea light and you're good to go -- incense without the harmful particles to filter with your lungs.
Beautifully carved, and it's a pleasure to have any object that's not made as cheaply as possible out of plastic. The package promises that this little lamp is eco-friendly, fair trade and a cottage industry. It's well-made and well-packaged. A real treasure.
Obviously you KNOW not to turn your back (or leave the room) on a burning candle, yes? Heaven forbid that someone get themselves bent out of shape claiming that they didn't know that a candle flame produces heat.
Highly recommended. A wonderful little solution.
