(More customer reviews)I got this light for my patio. I always seemed to forget to turn off the light in the morning, so I decided to try a light with a motion sensor. I have had this one a couple of weeks now, and so far it is working perfectly. It's an attractive security light. It seems that some of these lights don't work with CFBs, so you might want to check the product description carefully if you plan on using CFBs. I plugged in a CFB after installing the light, and I thought that the light wasn't working. I then realized that this light would only work with incandescent light bulbs.

Kenroy Home Wright 2-Light Table Lamp Review

(More customer reviews)I was immediately struck by the style of this lamp (as well as its one bulb sibling). On that front, the product image speaks for itself--either you find it attractive or not. There are several things that the images don't show, however. First, although it may at first glance appear to be metal, the body of the lamp is a dark wood. Second, the lamp looks like it could be unstable, but the base is much heavier than the rest of it, meaning its center of gravity is low and it remains very stable--I've never been worried it was going to tip over. Third, the cord emerges out of one of the long sides of the rectangular base, so this may affect how you would want to place it.
I really like this lamp--I can't say love, not for a lamp--but there are three potential caveats. First, it is not especially bright, even with two 100 watt bulbs, as the glass lampshades seem to consume a good chunk of the bulb's light. Second, that light is distinctly amber in color. It's almost feels like the room is being lit by torches (albeit without any flickering flames). Third, the switch for the lamp is on the cord, which feels awkward; as a result, the lamp is probably best suited for rooms where it can be plugged into an electrical outlet controlled by a switch. (The lamp's switch also controls both bulbs simultaneously, so there's no way to turn just one of the bulbs on.)
Overall, I am very happy with this lamp. If you like the style and don't find any of the caveats above to be a problem, I highly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)I bought these lamps several months ago. For the price, I was half-expecting three wobbly lamps. So I was quite pleased to receive, instead, a set of sturdy, stylish lamps. They are made in China, so while I can't comment on the material content, I can report that the lamps were carefully wrapped and meticulously packaged--there was not so much as a wrinkle on a lamp shade, and the lamps themselves were in perfect condition. As I am not particularly good at DIY projects, I was happy that the lamps were already prewired, with all of the parts in place. It only required screwing the linked pieces together, a task that even I could handle easily.
Each lamp uses two light bulbs of up to 100 watts each, giving plenty of light for reading. They don't take three-way bulbs, but the dual pull chains give you an option for how much light you use. They also accomodate the spiral, "greener" light bulbs without browning the shades. As I have said, these lamps are sturdy, and the bronze finish is attractive and glossy.
After three months of daily use, these lamps look as good as the day I unpacked them. The only "flaw" that I have found is that one of my cats thinks the pull chains are cat toys, and so occasionally he manages to turn on a lamp in the middle of the night. And I don't suppose I can really blame that on the manufacturer or amazon.com!
The bottom line is, this is an attractive and sturdy set of lamps, and an excellent value. I highly recommend them.
