(More customer reviews)I was quite surprised to receive this product only to find that it was so small. The size of these little globes are perfect for a small apartment balcony but certainly not for anything larger. The lights are too close to eachother - about 12" apart and the entire string about 3' long. Not quite what I had in mind. If your looking for a nice outdoor patio light for festive occasions, this is not the best choice.

(More customer reviews)We have these lights all through our house and LOVE them! The glass is slighty varied on each one and look really beautiful with a clear light bulb in them! We unscrew the glass and clean them in warm water occasionally but they are easy to wipe down and clean with a warm rag as well! We did have an electrician switch out our old sconce with this new one but it seems like an easy change if your handy!

Extremely easy to install, since the base is small and light, so easy to hold with a couple of fingers while still using that hand to link wires. Provides plenty of light for our 11 x 12 bedroom, since the light reflects off the ceiling above the glass. If you are directly under the light, you don't see the bronze base where it attaches to the ceiling, and the white frosted glass sort of merges into a white ceiling. Would like to see it retain its edge more so it doesn't "disappear" into the ceiling, but overall looks very nice.

Checkolite 9613-34 Price Pfister Treviso Three Light Vanity Review

(More customer reviews)While the Price Pfister Model 9613-15 light set is sturdy and nice to look at when it's new, forget about using this in the bathroom. The humid environment causes this fixture to rust like an old ship in the ocean. Like a car in the cold north. Like a Red Rider wagon in the rain. Like a cheap bathroom fixture from Price Pfister and Checkolite. I purchased one from Lowe's since it had a long warranty. It rusted a few months after it was installed. Checkolite handles exchanges for Price Pfister and they said they didn't get my emails or emailed pictures when I tried to get an exchange. About 2 months later and a certified letter, they finally sent me a replacement. The replacement rusted faster than the first one. Like cheap stainless steel. Like my ragged old mother after she turned 20. Well, here we go again. I sent the email to them a week ago and no response. I guess I should have learned the first go around. Unless you're going to install this in a dry, sterile area, go with a glass sconce, or pay through the nose for a unit that doesn't rust. I made light, no pun intented, how badly this unit will rust but in all seriousness, go with something else. Otherwise, you'll spend good money for a unit that will rust quickly and getting it replaced will be equally if not more, disappointing.

Casablanca Fan 6673Z 50" Panama Traditional Indoor Oil-Rubbed Bronze Ceiling Fan w/ B206 Blades Review

(More customer reviews)I needed 3 ceiling fans for my house. After researching for a couple weeks, I chose an Emerson Avant Eco for my living room and two Casablanca Panama 6611z models for my bedrooms. Long story short, I would not have bought the Panamas if I had known about the annoying beep the fan makes when it changes speeds. The wall control is also somewhat limited and has (what I would call) 1980s technology. After turning it on, you have to hold down the fan button for it to speed up. When the fan changes speed, a tiny speaker in the fan itself emits a loud beep. After you reach the top speed, the only way to reduce the speed is to press the power button, leave it off for 5 seconds, then press the power button again and choose the speed by the fan button again (starting at the lowest speed). In other words, you cannot go back down on the speed.
I also bought this model because you can program it to slow down during the night to compensate for cooler air, but again, the fan beeps when it changes speed, so you have the potential to be woken up every two hours by the fan.
I contacted Casablanca and they told me there is no way to disable the beep. I had ordered these fans through another company (not Amazon) and they told me I could open up the fan housing and try to disable it, but that would probably void the warranty. I cannot return the fan I installed and the other one, I would have to pay for shipping and 30% restocking fee. I am writing this so hopefully you learn from my expensive $800 lesson. I will probably try and sell these Casablancas now on Craigslist and get two more Emersons.
Besides the beep, the fan is quiet, but for $400 I would expect better controls. In contrast, the Emerson model is whisper quiet and came with a remote where the speed can be controlled up and down with a push of the button and there is no beeping. I would highly recommend looking at Emerson fans instead of Casablanca.
