(More customer reviews)I also had an issue with assembly - the light socket was missing. But I had spent the time to put it together...and it was too much to put back in the box, I decided to contact the manufacturer. I was so surprised by their excellent service. They replied to my email almost immediately and then sent out the missing part federal express.
As for the lamp, I like it and I think it has a nice finish. My only issue is that I have it on wall-to-wall carpeting and the lamp is top heavy. Thus, it leans a little. Although no one else seems to notice. And I've been looking for an attractive door stop or rock or something to place on the base....but honestly I've had it up for a few months now....so I'm not sure if that is even necessary.
