(More customer reviews)One would think that at this price, the quality of these lights would be very good. Wrong. They look great, heavy gauge materials, real glass; but I knew I was in trouble as they fell apart as I took them out of the box. The little top hubs do not secure well with the top of the lattern. Luckily, the bulb keeps the lattern from falling to the ground. Why did I not return it? they look fantastic. But I had to use wire, spit and some enginuity to keep these together. If you buy, be willing to do the same.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for the kitchen along with the 1-bulb version for another part of the kitchen. Really nice light. I'm using CF's in it and the glow is nice and even and bright. The build quality is really good, too. And the sockets were already wired together so you didn't have to mess with too many leads during installation. Installation took me about a half hour alone. The longest part of the installation was getting the screw heights just right so the lamp stayed flush with the ceiling. Having someone to hold the lamp for me during installation would have shortened the installation time dramatically. Anyhow, I like it and it was a great purchase and the price was quite reasonable. I'm happy with it.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this UV light to look for traces of dog & cat urine in my home. I have tried everything from shampooing carpets to using all those dusty powders on them. I heard that a UV light can pick up on the stains of old & new traces of urine. While my bathroom glowed like a night light, my carpets did very little. I even took a potty pad that has fresh urine on it, took it into my bathroom & closed the door so there was absolutely no trace of light - & the spot never glowed atall. To use this light, or any other UV light for that matter, you need absolute darkness. There were spots in the bedrooms that glowed very faintly, but you basically had to get on your hands & knees to see it. Overall, for tile & wood floors, this light works amazingly - but as far as carpets, you're better off ordering something stronger.

(More customer reviews)It is very attractive fixture, but the two bulbs show as "bright spots" when its on and it looks funny. I tried frosted bulbs, but it shows up that way, which I don't really like. If I bought it in a local store; I'd return it.
If my arms weren't so tired putting it up, I probably would turn the base so the bulbs would be left to right and wouldn't show much (it's hung in a narrow hallway). Right now, the bulbs are front to back, so you see this bulb glowing against the glass cover.
Also, trying to line up the base on the ceiling with the bottom plate is a pain in the butt. It's like trying to find a keyhole in the dark.......

(More customer reviews)I was more than a little surprised with this light. We purchased it as a replacement for our bathroom after a light we purchased locally had chipped shades. We got it up easily enough, mounted just fine. Good flat mounting bracket in there. However - the left hand of four bulbs wouldn't work. Tried multiple known working bulbs. Just a dud from the get go. So it got sent back. Then we got our replacement. We wired it, got it up, turned it on.. and all the bulbs worked! Except... the lightbar (that comes out of the back plate on two extenders) was completely crooked - about 3 inches higher on the right side than the left when the plate was mounted level on the wall. So back down it came.
The light itself is lovely. It was packed very, very well. Amazon did a great job of taking care of the problems. But in the end? LOUSY quality control from Kenroy Home, and a lack of caring from their customer service department. I called them after the first light proved to be a dud, and they refused to help in any way. "Sorry. Call the people you bought it from. Bye."
Also, to add insult to injury? The inside of the glass shades smelled of vomit, of all things. Seriously- avoid this light fixture, and probably Kenroy Home products in general.
